Empowering access to diagnostic solutions in LMICs for sustainable impact on public health

Global Health

The Global Health Department coordinates bioMérieux’s commitment to addressing infectious disease and antimicrobial resistance challenges in Low- and Middle-Income Contexts (LMICs) by facilitating access to our diagnostic solutions for the long-term.

Our commitment to Global Health initiatives

The burden of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance is especially challenging in Low- and Middle-Income Contexts (LMICs). At bioMérieux, we are committed to bringing diagnostics equitably to all, around the world.

We’ve been focused on this need from our beginnings – and for the past 40-plus years, we’ve worked hand in hand with local organizations as well as international aid organizations, governmental partners, NGOs, foundations and funding agencies globally.

Since 2008, our global and local action has been led by the dedicated Global Health Department, enhancing implementation and long-term sustainability of our solutions for infectious disease and antimicrobial resistance management. We go far beyond supplying instruments, supporting labs with strategies like deployment and training for maximum ongoing impact on local public health challenges. Let’s create a healthier world together!
