Programming Leadership and Advocacy with Networking, Educational Training and Translational Research in AMS-PLANET-AMS

This research highlights progress in several areas critical to antimicrobial treatment. Enhanced diagnostic test-seeking behaviors prior to treatment in specific patient groups, improved communication between prescribers and laboratories for better management of antimicrobial therapies, and developed evidence-based management strategies for bacteremia in high-risk patients such as those with chronic kidney disease and hematologic malignancies. Additionally, we've established networks with key stakeholders to create targeted interventions.
