The program began as an innovation engine born out of the Invisible Sentinel acquisition in which we partner directly with industry leaders to rapidly develop, validate, and commercialize cutting-edge molecular assays to respond to emerging needs.

Traditionally, development of an average food safety molecular assay is a laborious process that takes two to three years to release into the market. Part of bioMérieux’s Augmented Diagnostics approach, the xPRO™ Program is the catalyst advancing molecular diagnostics, solving the food industry’s complex food safety operational challenges through direct partnership to diagnose the root cause of food safety obstacles and develop innovative, custom testing solutions to ensure public safety while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Our cutting-edge Research and Development facilities, including the new bioMérieux Molecular and Genomics Innovation Center in Philadelphia (US), are at the forefront of scientific evolution and disruption. They support the program to continue its accelerated scaling efforts to meet existing and future in-market demands to continue offering uninterrupted support to industry-leading food, beverage and dietary supplement brands worldwide.
