In support of our commitment to public health, we have accelerated the shipment of BIOFIRE® instruments and Global Fever Special Pathogens test panels to Africa. bioMérieux teams are working in close partnership with the Ministries of Health of Rwanda and Uganda, as well as with the Institut National de Recherche Biomédicale (INRB), in support of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), to deploy these tests where they are needed most and serve local communities.

Through these efforts, we are expanding diagnostic testing capacity on the ground by rapidly deploying solutions and strengthening local laboratory capabilities. This work enables earlier detection and strengthens the ability of health authorities to effectively contain and manage the current Ebola outbreak.
