François holds a master’s degree of General Microbiology from Pasteur Institute, Paris and doctorate from Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza, Italy.
After 15 years working for major dairy (Nestlé, Danone, Savencia) and confectionary (Barry Callebaut) food business companies, he works since 2017 as principal consultant for Food Safety Microbiology Hygiene and since 2022 as scientific collaborator within Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore.
François is delegate of France at the International Dairy Federation since 2010. He is member of the Standing Committees Methods on Microbiological Hygiene (SCMH) and Methods for Dairy Microbiology (SCMDM).
He is elected chair of the SCMH, and represents IDF in different ISO TC34/SC5 and SC9 Working groups as well as specific Codex Alimentarius Committees.
Magali Le Diodic graduated in Quality, Health, Safety & Environment, and began her career in the development of hygien solutions adapted to poultry and then, for food industries.
Previously Expert in the management of Airborne Disinfection tools, she then specialized in the control of aerobiocontamination, in all types of food industries.
After 15 years of experience in Health Safety, now she supports factories in the development of key missions, such as the implementation of new solutions like Dry Cleaning and water savings.
One of her main missions today is to train and support the French Technical Team and Key Accounts in order to strengthen Food Safety among customers.
For this, she is involved daily in the resolution of pratical cases of microbiological deviations and trouble shooting.
Hervé Gomichon (born 1963) is a French professional holding a DMV from Toulouse National Veterinary School. In 1986, he founded the first “vet junior enterprise” in Toulouse to assist food and pharmaceutical companies. From 1989 to December 1990, he worked with Bureau Veritas, overseeing commercial and technical subjects across 13 French departments. From January 1991 to 2001, Hervé held various roles in technical R&D, production, packaging development, and B2B, specializing as a worldwide cheese and process engineer with Fromageries Bel.

Herve is part of several VC advisory boards
Hervé is the current Chairman of the French Vet School and has served as a board member of GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), MSC(Marine Stewardship Council), IFS , and ANSES (French food safety agency). He has participated in numerous technical and scientific programs as an attendee or speaker and completed an executive program at INSEAD.
Martin received a veterinary degree and a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, and a Ph.D. in Food Science from Cornell, where he currently is the Gellert Family Professor of Food Safety.
His research interests focus on farm-to-table microbial food quality and food safety and the application of molecular tools to study the transmission of foodborne pathogens and spoilage organisms, including translation of the associated research findings into reducing foodborne illnesses and food spoilage with a specific focus on the dairy value chain.
His team has published >450 papers that have been cited >35,000 times. Students and staff that were previously associated with his team have pursued successful careers in a range of environments, including industry, government, academia, and non-for profits.
Marjon is Principal Scientist at NIZO, a company that performs contract research for leading food and health companies with a mission to contribute to better food and health and sustainable food production. She is also a visiting scientist at Wageningen University.
The Food Safety and Chain Control team at NIZO focuses on contaminants in foods, with the aim to help customers speed up innovation, and produce safe foods with reliable processes, thereby protecting image and brands and reducing food waste. Starting from risk assessments based on predictive models, advise is given on how to best mitigate potential microbial risks during product formulation and food processing, which can be tested at NIZO at laboratory and pilot scale.
Her broad expertise and background in food safety and quality was shaped by her PhD at Wageningen University, Postdoc at Harvard University, work at FBR (Wageningen), Quadram (Norwich), and for the last 20 years at NIZO.ting.
After his apprenticeship as a laboratory technician and his studies in dairy technology, he worked in various positions in production, laboratory and quality management at plant level.
Later in central functions as audit consultant, followed by positions as integration manager as well as head of quality management in the dairy industry.
Studied Biology at the University of Athens, Greece, holds a PhD in Applied and Environmental microbiology and has completed a Post Doc study in Microbial Biotechnology.
During her PhD study, has been head of the accredited laboratory of University of Athens for GMO detection in foodstuff and completed several projects funded by European Community in cooperation with food and pharmaceutical industries.
Worked in Cretafarms SA (food industry) as Quality Control Mgr and joined Coca Cola Hellenic in 2009 as Quality Assurance & Quality Control Mgr in different production plants. Currently holds the position of Coca Cola Hellenic Head of Quality, Safety and Environment Governance, is member of the Water Treatment and Microbiology networks of experts of CCHellenic, member of Global Coca-Cola Company Microbiology Network and nominated lecturer at Hellenic Food Authority seminars on Food Safety of Beverage Industry.
Benoit Duculot graduated from ESA Business School in Namur, Belgium, and began his career in the hygiene industry in 2004. He has held various positions, including business developer and application specialist. Since 2020, Benoit has taken on responsibilities at the Innovation and Technology Center, identifying new sectors and industries where innovative solutions can enhance current hygiene levels within the context of transitioning towards sustainable practices.
Throughout these years, he has been involved in numerous industrial cases where microbiological deviations could not be detected or prevented using conventional methods. To address this, he implemented alternative identification techniques to conventional routine tools and integrated new cleaning solutions, targeting biofilms among others, with the objective of surpassing current hygiene standards and prevent any deviation.
