International Food Safety Consumer Survey 2020

For the second year running, bioMérieux and Mérieux NutriSciences have joined forces to better understand consumer perceptions around food safety on an international scale.
Unlike any other year, the COVID-19 Pandemic has forced us all to re-evaluate the way we think about food safety, as well as the way we eat and purchase food. This survey will provide insight into what consumer’s feel more concerned about, whether their level of confidence in the food they eat has altered, as well as any changes they’ve made to their eating habits.
The study was carried out in France, India, China and The United Sates, with a quantitative sample of consumers representative of each country’s population according to gender, age, occupation and level of education.
