SUMMARY
During the ID Week 2022 conference, Vicky Enne, PhD, and Vanya Gant, PhD, presented their thoughts on the utility of rapid diagnostics for hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) and ventilator-acquired pneumonia (VAP) in critical care. The BioFire® FilmArray® Pneumonia Panel is being used in 14 different ICUs across the UK as part of the multi-center, randomized, controlled trial called INHALE.
