bioMérieux's Dehydrated Culture Media are specially formulated to offer optimal performance in various microbiological testing contexts and meet the specific requirements of the food industry.

Culture media is a mixture of substances (nutrients, growth promoting factors, minerals, metals, buffer salts …) to foster and sustain the growth and differentiation of microorganisms. Our culture media's advanced formulations help to guarantee precise, reproducible, and consistent microbiological tests results.

Microbial culture media can be prepared in various forms: liquid (broth), solid (agar plates), or semi-solid (deeps).

Reconstituted Broth is designed to be a primary enrichment step prior to the detection and enumeration tests.

Our portfolio includes a broad range of dehydrated culture media in powder to support our GENE-UP® and VIDAS® tests.
