Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs in a Mexican Private Healthcare System: A Self-Assessment of Core Elements

Antimicrobial stewardship program (ASP) development at CHRISTUS MUGUERZA Healthcare System should be bolstered by aligning with corporate policies to ensure sustained and consistent growth. This study utilized a self-assessment tool to evaluate ASP progress in private hospitals. Despite the availability of essential infrastructure and resources, these findings indicate that further staff involvement may be necessary to enhance ASP implementation effectively.
